Three Membership Classifications

Professional

  • Members who hold a graduate degree with major emphasis in speech-language pathology, audiology, or speech-language and hearing science. Professional members shall have all privileges of the Association (voting, holding office, direct mailings about BASPA events, and reduced workshop registration fees)

Associate

  • Members in a related profession who are in good standing in said profession and subscribe to the purpose of BASPA.

Student

  • Members actively pursuing college or university training in speech and language pathology, audiology, or speech and hearing sciences and who do not qualify for professional membership.

*Associate and Student members shall have all privileges of the Association except voting and holding office.

Membership Information

  • Membership Year: January 1st to December 31st.  Dues: $25

  • All dues go towards supporting the purposes of the association.   

  • Members are given a discount when registering for BASPA workshops.
